Hello Everyone!:-) There really hasn't been much going on here lately. It is that time of year that is blah, blah, blah...By the way, anyone ready for spring yet? LOL! Yep, us too! Well, till spring, and the construction crew starts again Chuck got into the truck for a couple of months. As usual hating it, and me? Breathing a lil bit:) Not use to him being home all the time like that. Gives me time to do some things here. Since there is soooo much snow, I know the basement will get a lil wet from it. So, Chuck had brought some pallets in from the truck, and I was down there throwing those down, and putting boxes onto them...just in case:)
Nick is still finishing up with school....if it quits snowing & blowing that they don't have to cancel all the time. The last cancellation was due to a pile up on the rode this Tues. Had the highway shut down till about 11 that morning. Pretty bad...the semi truck does not look good:( He is still working part-time at Fareway. During that time I kept busy with trying to find a background to use with pics of Samantha & Nick for their graduation invitations I am working on. ***A Reminder.....They are combined in Storm Lake on May 30th from 2-4. Trying to make it easier for everyone by putting them together. It will be at the Lake Ave Lounge located on the 3rd floor & it DOES have elevator access. So, when I get them invitations together, and in the mail I will give ya'll a heads up about it too.
Ashley still works when she can get there from the weather too. Oh, yeah, Nick is still doing his poster drawings either for himself, or he has had requests from people & they pay him too. His counselor from school...her son bought a drawing from Nick & I guess she has it hanging in their living room for all to see. So, that is a good feeling. Ashley keeps busy besides work chasing after Karma...oh yeah, she is growing & spunky as ever too:)
I suppose, instead of writing a book to ya'll I better scoot for now. Wanna get a few more pics to show how the height rose on some of the drifts in the backyard when the winds were soooo bad on Monday. Take care everyone, drop a line when ya feel like it, and hope this finds all of you doing well.
Till the next time....
Kim and Family
